This autumn, Rurbanism Tokyo Store will open its doors.
Ahead of the opening, we are pleased to introduce a selection of the works that will be presented there through the Rurbanism online store.
The first is an incense dish by contemporary ceramic artist Shohei Ono.

Created for burning incense, each piece also carries a quiet presence when left simply as an object, subtly shaping the atmosphere of a space.
Available in three distinct glazes—“Ao-hai” Glaze, “Kurokesyou”, and “Shirogane Glaze—each surface reflects Ono's ongoing exploration of clay, glaze, and the firing process.
Every piece reveals its own unique landscape, gradually becoming part of everyday life through use and the passage of time.

At the Tokyo Store, we will present a carefully curated selection ranging from objects for everyday living—including flower vases, planters, and tableware—to sculptural works and art pieces.
Through our newsletter, subscribers will receive advance notice of release dates, along with previews of forthcoming works, solo exhibitions, and projects at the Tokyo Store.
We look forward to gradually building this new place together with you in the months ahead.
