Born in Tokyo in 1960. He is currently based in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, and continues to create using techniques such as "karatsu" and brushstroke while harnessing the strength of clay rich in iron content. The vessels fired in a wood kiln possess a solid presence amidst tranquility, bringing depth and tension to the space they occupy.
