SANTA & COLE is a design editor founded in Barcelona, Spain, in 1985.

From the beginning, founders Nina Masó, Gabriel Ordeig Cole, and Javier Nieto Santa have defined themselves not as manufacturers, but as editors. Their role has been to discover, select, and bring thoughtful design into contemporary life. In many ways, SANTA & COLE operates less as a producer of objects and more as a curator of culture.

From reissuing iconic lighting and furniture designs from the 1950s to collaborating with contemporary designers, the company has built a collection that carefully preserves enduring design while continuously creating new relevance for modern living.

Elegant forms, functional integrity, and a quiet sense of timelessness define the work of SANTA & COLE.

SANTA&COLE / CESTA

With its lantern-like form and distinctive handle, the CESTA is one of Miguel Milá's most iconic lighting designs.

Originally designed in 1962, the first CESTA was introduced with a rattan frame. The current version is crafted from cherry wood, faithfully preserving the spirit of the original while adapting it for contemporary living.

The combination of the warm wooden structure and the softly diffused opal glass shade creates a timeless presence that has remained relevant for more than half a century.

Whether placed beside a sofa, in a bedroom, or even in a traditional Japanese room, the CESTA brings a quiet sense of character and warmth to its surroundings.
