SANTA & COLE is a design editor founded in Barcelona, Spain, in 1985.

From the beginning, founders Nina Masó, Gabriel Ordeig Cole, and Javier Nieto Santa have defined themselves not as manufacturers, but as editors. Their role has been to discover, select, and bring thoughtful design into contemporary life. In many ways, SANTA & COLE operates less as a producer of objects and more as a curator of culture.

From reissuing iconic lighting and furniture designs from the 1950s to collaborating with contemporary designers, the company has built a collection that carefully preserves enduring design while continuously creating new relevance for modern living.

Elegant forms, functional integrity, and a quiet sense of timelessness define the work of SANTA & COLE.

SANTA&COLE / DORICA

The DORICA is a floor lamp designed in 1994 by Spanish design duo Jordi Miralbell and Mariona Raventós.

Its name is derived from the Doric order of classical Greek architecture, reflected in its balanced proportions and quietly monumental presence.

A richly textured pleated ribbon shade, a stable dark-toned base, and a leather-wrapped detail at the top of the shaft come together in a harmonious composition. The contrast of materials and textures gives the lamp a character that is both classic and refined.

Its distinctive low-profile form casts a warm, generous light that brings a sense of comfort to a sofa-side setting while enhancing the atmosphere of the surrounding space.

Inspired by classical architecture yet perfectly suited to contemporary interiors, the DORICA is one of SANTA & COLE's most enduring designs, celebrated for its understated presence and exceptional materiality.
