Shohei Ono
Born in 1985 in Aichi Prefecture. Currently creating pottery in Kochi Prefecture, Kami City. Raised under his father, ceramic artist Teppei Ono, he continues to create while deeply engaging with nature, digging clay from the mountains and preparing raw materials for glazes from scratch after becoming independent.

The vessels created from the certain weight felt when held and their generous shapes carry a quiet tension beneath their simplicity, giving a powerful presence to the space itself beyond daily life. As vessels for serving food, they also reveal a new expression as art pieces when used for arranging flowers or placed as objects, captivating the hearts of viewers.
