The brushstroke planter by contemporary ceramic artist Tomoko Sakai is created using a unique technique where white clay is not "painted" with a brush, but rather "layered" on. The expressions of the brushstrokes that emerge from this technique are all different, and the rough texture and the strength of the clay stand out. Behind the three-dimensional shadows created by the brush, there quietly resides simplicity and gentleness, making it a planter that feels pleasant to hold.

This brushstroke planter is a precious piece specially made by the artist for Rurbanism. Tomoko Sakai's planter works are rarely exhibited in solo shows, and opportunities for them to appear on the market are extremely limited, making them highly rare works.

Rurbanism will continue to introduce a variety of works, including planters by Tomoko Sakai.
