The brushstroke planter by contemporary ceramic artist Tomoko Sakai is born from a unique technique where white clay is not "painted" with a brush, but rather "layered" on. The expressions of the brushstrokes that emerge from this technique are all different, highlighting a rough texture and the strength of the clay. Deep within the three-dimensional shadows created by the brush, simplicity and gentleness quietly reside, providing a pleasant feeling when held. planter.

This brushstroke planter is a valuable piece specially created by the artist for Rurbanism. Since Tomoko Sakai's planter works are rarely exhibited in solo shows and have very few opportunities to enter the market, they can be considered highly rare works.

Rurbanism will continue to introduce a variety of works, including planters by Tomoko Sakai.
