Born in Shizuoka in 1976, where he continues to live and work.

After studying under porcelain artist Taizo Kuroda, he established his own practice, pursuing refined forms and profound tones through iron-glazed black vessels, building a distinctive world of expression. In recent years, he has also been working with white porcelain, expanding his range of expression through the diverse textures and hues that emerge from variations in firing and glaze. His vases embody both serene presence and poised tension, possessing the power to transform a space the moment they hold flowers.
