Designed by Alvar Aalto, the “51 Hallway Arm Chair” is one of the defining early works from Aalto’s 1930s design period.

This particular vintage piece, produced around the 1930s, is distinguished by its vivid red seat, which adds a subtle yet striking character to the chair. Within its simple structure, Aalto’s signature soft curves and functional beauty are beautifully balanced.

The lightweight frame and the organically flowing line extending from the arms to the backrest bring a natural warmth and gentle rhythm to a space.
